Welcome! I’m Jessica, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) based in Portland, OR. My practice is dedicated to supporting adults navigate many challenges of life, including adjustment to disability, management of chronic conditions, major life transitions, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health conditions. I identify as queer, “not quite white”, and spiritually non-conforming. I'm deeply committed to trauma-informed care, ensuring a safe and empathetic space for healing. My approach integrates a well developed understanding of the human experience with practical strategies to manage and embrace change. I tend to be a fan of gallows humor, and unconventional thought. I've been told that I'm good at helping people feel at ease when we talk together, which I attribute to my emphatic belief that it should be ok to "come as you are".
